Hesston has yet to play a game this week but enters the week on a hot streak after five varsity wins last week including three one-run contests with one of those in extra innings. Senior Gunnar Lewis extended his hitting streak to 17 games dating all the way back to last season. He has gone hitless just one time in the Swathers' last 37 games. Whit Rhodes was nails on the mound against Hoisington in Game 1 Friday throwing 15 strikeouts and allowing just one earned run in a complete game 7-1 win. The Swathers improved to 9-2 overall on the season.
