The Kansas High School football media poll is voted on by a number of statewide sportswriters in Kansas including Kansas Pregame publisher John Baetz.

There's likely a statistical way to prove this, but anecdotally it feels like there is less separation at the top of more classifications than in the past. Only a couple of the state's nine classifications have a heavy-favorite to win it all this year, which is great.

AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park will host the 6A KSHSAA Boys and Girls State Wrestling Championship, February 28 - March 1, 2025.

The KSHSAA Board of Directors voted Wednesday to allow high school basketball teams to play 23 games during the regular season starting with the 2025-26 season.
