Baseball, softball and track coaches from across Kansas should have received a link to our team questionnaire in their email inboxes sometime over the last few days and the deadline is fast approaching to return a questionnaire in time to ensure your team's inclusion in our second annual Spring Edition. For those coaches who did not receive the link please be sure to check spam, or, find our forms online at the Forms & Submissions page of our website.

After 14 years publishing the only statewide high school football preview for the Sunflower State, we expanded Kansas Pregame's coverage into winter sports in 2018 with our new Kansas Pregame Winter Sports Preview. We continued the expansion with the launch of our new website, KansasPregame.com in January of 2019. Now our expansion efforts continue with work on the second annual Spring Edition, which will preview the baseball, softball, and track & field seasons in Kansas.

While my lifelong passion has been the sport of football, I've thoroughly enjoyed covering basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, track & field and powerlifting over the last 18 months and learning even more about all the great athletes we have in Kansas.

I'm happy to continue to partner with freelance writers and photographers from across Kansas to provide extensive high school sports coverage, and the basis of that coverage starts with feedback from high school coaches.

As a former coach at three different high schools in Kansas I value the opinions and team details provided by coaches. That starts with our team preview questionnaires. I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate coaches taking time out of their busy schedules to fill out our online questionnaires.

Head baseball and softball coaches and head boys and girls track coaches are encouraged to fill out the online questionnaire just as soon as possible here, or request a PDF questionnaire via email at pregamequestionnaires@gmail.com.

Coaches, please also recommend feature suggestions. Tell us about the top returning athletes you coach or coached against, and tell us about coaches who may deserve to be featured due to longevity, success, or overcoming challenges. We want to tell the stories of Kansas athletes, coaches and programs, but we need to hear from coaches to make that a reality.

And finally, I have to emphasize that this coverage is not possible without our dozens of outstanding advertisers.

The cost of our coverage is entirely covered by advertising sponsorships keeping all our products free to players, coaches and fans, and while we have numerious great advertising partners, we are always in search of more. Coaches, please include sponsor suggestion with your questionnaire, or email us details at kansaspregame@gmail.com. Thank you in advance for considering the suggestion of sponsors.
