Earlier this week the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced a three-year partnership agreement with Mammoth Turf to be recognized as the official turf sponsor for the conference office effective immediately.

Mammoth Turf is no stranger to the KCAC as the founder and president, Jake Farrant, was a member of the Ottawa University football team from 2001-03. In addition, Mammoth's Director of Sales, Patrick Ross coached football at Ottawa University during the 2002 and 2003 seasons, leading his team to a KCAC Regular Season Championship title in 2003. Brian Morris, Vice President for Professional and Collegiate Operations, played baseball at Tabor College during the 1999 and 2000 seasons.

"The partnership with the KCAC is an incredible opportunity for Kansas Turf/Mammoth Sports Construction," President Jake Farrant stated. "A number of our team played or coached at KCAC schools so we have an intimate understanding of the conference and what makes the KCAC and the member institutions so special. We want to help deliver an amazing experience for these student-athletes and support the leadership throughout the conference. Kansas Turf/Mammoth Sports Construction is committed to excellence, just like each of the student-athletes, coaches, administrators and faculty staff that make up the KCAC."

The partnership between the conference and Mammoth runs through September 2022. The KCAC joins schools from the Big 12 and SEC that have relationships with Mammoth.

"We are pleased to partner with Kansas Turf/Mammoth Sports Construction and promote their services to our conference schools," indicated Dr. Scott Crawford, KCAC Commissioner.  "This arrangement aligns with other key partnerships we have developed recently to educate our members as they make important decisions about appropriate athletic competition surfaces for student-athlete safety.  Kansas Turf/Mammoth Sports Construction is the premier turf and turf installation brand in the Midwest without question."
