The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association (KWCA) and the Shrine Bowl of Kansas have announced the high school senior wrestlers who have accepted their invitation to wrestle in the 3rd annual KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals. The KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at Fugate Gymnasium on the campus of Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. Gates open at 1:00 pm and the opening ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm. Tickets, event information, and sponsorship opportunities are available at www.KansasShrineDuals.com.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the four member Hall of Fame Class of 2026 to be inducted Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Kansas Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame ceremony during the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter National Football Foundation Banquet in Lawrence, Kansas. Additional event details and ticketing information will be announced soon.

The St. James Academy sophomore and aspiring broadcaster shadowed ESPN analyst and former Tennessee basketball player Andraya Carter during ESPN’s “College GameDay” broadcast ahead of Kansas’ men’s basketball game against BYU.
The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the addition of eight new players to the 2026 rosters to fill open roster spots due to declined invitations. Additions to the West team are Josiah Schmidt, Pratt and Issac Nikolas, Derby.
Machia Mullens’ path from southwest Kansas gyms to the legal side of college athletics has come full circle, with sports still at the center of her life — just from a different seat at the table.
Mullens, featured on the cover of Kansas Pregame’s 2019 Winter Edition for her play at Liberal High School, is a third-year law student at the University of Colorado, where she is preparing to begin her professional career after accepting a full-time position with The Harris Law Firm following her graduation in May 2026.
