
Beloit senior Brody Litton has built a college football future while managing a daily reality that never takes a snap off.
Litton, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defensive lineman committed to the University of New Mexico, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in January of 2021, midway through his seventh grade year. The diagnosis came shortly after his middle school basketball season ended, following weeks of unexplained weight loss, fatigue and constant thirst.

Kansas State University is proud to host the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Tour on Friday, January 30, at Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track in conjunction with the DeLoss Dodds Invitational. The action runs from 7-9 p.m., and admission is free — inviting all fans to witness the world’s greatest athletes in track and field compete in the Wildcats’ world class facility.
This two-hour showcase will feature four World Athletics sponsored events including the women’s pole vault, men’s high jump, women’s long jump and men’s long jump.
