My husband loves your children - truly loves them. He is with your children, arguably, more than you are during football season. He sees them at their best and worst. He supports them off and on the field, and provides them with unwavering support in all their endeavors. He wants them to meet their goals in football and in life. He cares about them as people, as young men. He wants your children to succeed and to experience greatness. He is with your child more than he is with his own. That is the sacrifice he makes to do all of the things he does for your children.

Week 3 football rankings

Week 3 helped to clear up the rankings picture a little bit with a couple notable surprises and otherwise as anticipated performances. Here’s a look at our best guess at the Top 5 in each class after three weeks.

Week 2 football rankings

Wichita Northwest is playing like the best team in all classes this season combining an explosive offense with a frenetic defense and dudes on dudes. (Photo: Linda Gregory) Note: Linda Gregory has contributed outstanding photos to our publications and website frequently over the years. Kansas Pregame staff was saddened to hear of her passing and we send out our deepest condolences to her family and the Northwest community.

Week 2 helped clear some things up for us in our personal Top 5 for each classification. The returning champs in each classification continue to look the part of title defenders in spite of our concerns entering the season, and a few new contenders are starting to make some noise. Let’s take a closer look.
