The 49th annual Shrine Bowl ended in a 10-10 tie Saturday, July 23rd at Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State. The West's lead in the series stands at 30-16 over the East with Saturday's tie the second in the game's history.

The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame (KSHOF) has announced the members of the Class of 2022 who will be inducted on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the Kansas Star Casino.
The KSHOF is also proud to announce the Kansas Star Casino as the host and title sponsor for the 2022 KSHOF Induction Ceremony on October 2. This is the fourth year the Kansas Star Casino has been the title sponsor and is the third year of hosting the event.

Festivities kick-off in Beloit this Friday for the 36th Kansas 8-Man All-Star games, beginning with a 4:00 p.m. pep rally at Chautauqua Park, followed by a night of events and activities, before kicking off Saturday morning with the Division I game at 10:00 a.m. and the DII matchup to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Trojan Field, home of the Beloit High Trojans.
The Kansas 6-Player Football Association will host their third annual All-Star Classic on the campus of Fort Hays State University, Saturday, June 4th, at 7:00 p.m. The game will be played between a collection of 2022 graduates of the 14 schools representing the Kansas 6-Player Association, along with a select few 2022 graduates of schools who will join the 6-Man ranks next season.
The Kansas Basketball Coaches Assocation All-Star games are scheduled for June 18th, 2022 at Kansas Wesleyan University's Mabee Arena in Salina. The girls will play at 5 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m.

Fourteen Kansas high school senior football players have been selected by the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter of the National Football Foundation as 2021-22 scholar-athletes.
Olpe head football coach Chris Schmidt, former Pittsburg-Colgan head football coach Chuck Smith and official Doug Simpson have been selected by the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter of the National Football Foundation to receive special recognition awards for the 2021-22 academic year.
